Re: jap import

The slimline PS2s have a separate power supply which, so I've been told by people who've imported them, auto-detect the mains voltage so no step-up/down transformer is needed. All you should require is UK three pin plug/lead to replace the Jap one. Check out the import FAQS etc at:

http://www.ntsc-uk.co.uk

for more detailed info.

Smile Re: jap import

any old figure of 8 lead will get it too work

the power supply is external on all but the newest model which is internal, just avoid that one

the PSU is multi voltage and works from 100 - 240 volts, which covers the UK voltage, thats why the 3 pin uk figure of 8 lead works fine

you get can get them pretty cheap nowadays from places like here, ebay or other gaming sites
