All being well,i will have my PS3 next week.

Having sold my PS2 about 3 years ago and not really following the PS2 games scene since i have now started to look through the back catalogue to pick some out which will hopefully be backwards compatible on the PS3.

I am thinking of buying Okami,Shadow Of The Colossus,God of War and God Of War 2.

Will i still play these even though i have next gen games? Do they live up to reviews ?

They are all fantastic games. I am sure they will still provide plenty of enjoyment for you, even though they may be 'last-gen'. I heartily recommend all that are on your list.

Whether they will successfully play or not remains to be seen though...

Would it not be more prudent to just wait and see whether they will all be OK on the PS3??

I don't have GOW1, but the rest all play fine on my PS3.
