hi all, my son got a PSP 2003 for christmas ,which im not sure he likes, but we have noticed that the volume seems very low when either games or films are on???

even with headphones in it just doesnt seem acceptable with earphones in ,the volume set halfway and cannot hear a thing!!

my take is its faulty so we will have to send it back but it would be nice to know if this is normal for a psp so he would have to live with it, but its a shame!!

your help would be apprieciated, thanks

I would say that is not normal

I usually set it between 1/2 and 3/4 and the volume is more than acceptable

i just got a new psp and mine is VERY low volume aswell, i have it tunred up to the maximum and can only just hear it when others in the room are talking?

Mine is perfectly loud enough set just above half volume without headphones. Haven't tried it with headphones so can't comment.
