please help with update

please help with update

Hi all. I have followed istructions to update my psp to cfw 3.90 from cfw 3.40 kindly supplied by Scotty on the forums, I have just tried to run the 3.90 update on psp, now it says on psp screen

unpacking done...
please wait...

It has been like this for the last 10 or 15 minutes. Does anyone know what is going on. Thanks for any help offered.

That message should only appear for a few seconds before it launches Sony’s updater.
Reboot the PSP it should be OK as the flashing hasn’t started yet.
First check that your running 3.52m33-3 and that you have the Sony 3.90 update in the PSP\GAME\UPDATE folder on your memory stick and its named 3.90.PBP along with the EBOOT.PBP from the 3.90m33-2 download and try again
