Flying PSPs

Just bought a PSP to entertain me on some business long haul flights I got coming up. The guy in gamestation warned me that I might not be able to use it as he was not allowed to use his on a flight to the Dominican Republic last year.

I searched the forums and there is an older thread saying it was OK, anybody got any recent experience of PSP and flights?

Sadly, I''m flying to Orlando on June with Thomas Cook airlines. I had to keep costs down to justify a trip to MS Geek-ed 2008. Their flights just sound awful - anybody flown with these recently?

Re: Flying PSPs

I used my PSP and DS on a flight to dominican republic in sep 2006, it was a thomson flight. My mate even used his wireless to game share on flights, he travelled the world for 4 months and had no problems. They only ask you dont have them on when taking off and landing.

Re: Flying PSPs

I’ve used my PSP on a dozen flights over the past three years with various carriers without any issues. The only restriction is like un1eash said during take off and landing were you’re asked to turn them off
