Update to 3.90 M33 (Is It bricked)

Advice please.

Earlier on I was attempting to update my PSP to 3.90 M33, after downloading the update folder and downloading the 3.90 eboot file and moving It Into the update folder. I ran the C/W and It now looks as though I have bricked my PSP.

My PSP powers up for about 30 seconds screen remains black and then PSP powers down, Is It bricked and am I able to resurect It with the Pandoras battery.

That sounds like a typical bad flash response (brick) to me yes Pandora should be able to resurrect it.

What firmware were you on before you attempted the upgrade?

Can you still get to the recovery menu – hold the right trigger and power on?

Thanks for the reply, the right trigger button Isn't working unfortunately.

I was on 3.80 c/fw prior to my upgrade, so as far as I'm aware I did everything properly, went to the memory stick to run program, and all seemed to be working machine rebooted and then asked me to Install the firmware, so went through the licence agreement, and after about I guess 70%, It just gave me an alphanumeric error.

I can see another post, where a Pandoras battery Is being sent to people, can I join that list, and do I need to buy anything myself to resolve my Issue.

Your now on the list for the kit and no you don't need anything, everthing you need is in the kit.
