Popsloader

I am having no joy with PSX games.

I have M3.71 M33 Loaded

I have the PSX files converted to eboots, I can see them in the memory stick menu, I get the warning that they are made for the PSP then it just crashes.

This has happened with several games, they are ones that work as well, Colony Wars vengeance and Wild Arms......

Any thoughts?

Re: Popsloader

Load up a different version of pops using popsloader....i'm not sure from the title of this thread that you understand that the PSX emulator is pops (integrated into each fw) whilst popsloader is an additional program crafted by Dark Alex which allows you to emulate alternative versions of pops to increase compatibility with games. The problem you might be encountering is that the games you mention would work better on an alternative pops version...i.e. i couldn't get Resident Evil 3 to work on the 3.71 pops but using popsloader and the 3.40 pops it does. Plus there is also the chance that the games in question just won't work full stop.

Re: Popsloader

Thanks for that, I have done a bit of digging and see that when I hold in the right shoulder button I get the recovery menu, under the plugins section it doesn't have the popsloader.prx section, so I guess this is where I am going wrong.

I am now downloading 3.90M33......

Re: Popsloader

If the newer pops of 3.90 M33-2 doesn't clear your problems up it looks like you may have to install and configure popsloader (we'll worry about that if your problems aren't solved by the update!)

Re: Popsloader

So I downloaded Official 3.9FW and renamed it 390.PBP and got the latest version of Dark Alexs CFW 3.90 m33-2 put them in the folder and tried to run them but the PSP just keeps turning itself off >.<.

Any thoughts?
