Wireless

How can you disable the wireless function of the PSP? (Like you can do, for example, with a wireless modem-router).
I'm asking this because i believe that the electromagnetical radiation you get with wireless technologies, like Wifi, is dangerous for humans.
The menu of PSP at the Power Saving submenu there is a choice for WLAN energy saving. Is this the answer to what i'm asking?

Mine has the switch at the left side (on the top there is only the switch that opens the disk drive), but it must be up as the arrow, on the switch, points or down, in order to switch off wifi? Near that switch (on the left), there are 2 leds at the top near the analog stick. I think that the upper led must be on.

please say you are kidding lol. We get EM radiation from everything! Even light is EM radiation. The radio waves that are used to broadcast TV and radio are EM waves. I'd imagine if anything, they would have more of an effect on you than the PSP's wifi.
AFAIK, there has be no link proved between EM waves and poor health.

Also, unless you specifically tell it to connect to a network (the green light on the left flashes) then the PSP's wifi is not on at all.
The actual switch however depends on what PSP you have. If you have an older fat one, then its on the left (push the switch up). If you have a newer slim one, then its on the top.
