Football Manager 2008 question

Hi on football manager 2008 on the psp, do you get all the player attributes compared to the pc game or just a few of them? also do you get the same player database or is this limited too? I know the 2006 games was limited but I would like to know about the curreny version.

regards Keith

Re: Football Manager 2008 question

Yes the database is limited.
There are no german players for example if you start an english league.

There are plenty of stats to trawl through although obviously this is cut down from the PC version.

You can't hire/fire staff (that i can see anyway!).
You cannot comment on the team performance at half time/full time (ie give players a rocket at half time)

Overall though i think its a great compromise. there's nothing like carrying your footballing life around with you wherever you go!

Re: Football Manager 2008 question

I've been a fan of the Cm/FM series ince the 97/98 version. I like the PSP version, well worth the money, but not as good as the PC version. However 2008 is a lot better than any previous version in that respect

Re: Football Manager 2008 question

It seemed pretty good, when i had a little go, at present i'm working my way through PES2008, but i may take Manager to work, as its the kind of game that i can pick up and put down in between work, without managers getting on my back!
