Yea, I got it too. Its superb - I was blown away to be honest.

I played PES5 on PSP, then sold my PSP so missed out on PES6. Think 2008 is pretty close to 6 on PSP, so I cannot judge if much has changed, but from 5 the jump is immense.

99% smooth play, good presentation, nice feel - importantly, full edit mode, Master League etc. I'm in heaven with this version!!!

Have they improved the loading times since PES6? Got PES6 but the loading times just put me off playing it.

Check over at Evo-Web - kit patches being released... at least for the Asia version, but I think they work with the PAL version...

There are option files released too - I am not using a kit patch at the moment, just an option file someone has made and the kits, whilst not as good as in a kit patch, are 90% perfect.

Plus all the team and player names are correct. I've also done a bit of editing myself from the Jan window so all good in the hood!

Like I said, I never had PES6, so dont know how much this has changed. To me, it plays exactly like PES6 on the PC (which the older PSP versions didnt) and is not the PES2008 version seen on PS3/360.

If I had no other PES game, I'd say this was essential purchase.

FIFA 08 is ok on PSP and as a fan of a lower league side, its good for me, but PES2008 blows it out the water.

Oh, no commentary - just a bit when a goal is scored. Dont know about the stadia - think just a few licensed ones are in - White Hart Lane, St James, Anfield in the UK...

Works a treat now, except for on wirless link up with friends the game reverts back to the Teessides and Manchester Reds etc, why is that?
