That does look good.

Yeah I think I'll get the mega man games from the store once I'm over the initial honeymoon period with the launch games. They both get good reviews and I used to love Mega man on the nes. Perfect kind of games for handhelds.

I really wish a GTA SA Stories is in development. Please! I NEED a GTA game for the Vita.
This could possibly be the best handheld gaming device. Screw the DS's* lol.

*except for Pokemon.

Yeah that was an awesome game. The spin on my serve was phenomenal using the shoulder buttons on the snes. I still got the cartridge with a yellowed snes. Also got it on emulater on my htc desire - although not good without the proper controller.

Oh and I have the 3G vita with FIFA and Virtua Tennis 4 and 8gb card. VT4 from what I've heard is one of the best looking games at launch. I've not had a tennis game since Wii sports which was just a bit of fun, and Virtua on DC. So I'm due one

Me too, I switched from Lumines to Rayman to Virtua Tennis. I like tennis games but haven't owned one in a long time. Always liked the Virtua series too.

I suppose it never mattered what games I got on launch - there's going to be a healthy classifieds section post-launch so we'll probably all be swapping with each other once we're done!

Top Spin on the first xbox was the best tennis game I have played, they just needed to take the risk shot out. Super Tennis is my second have.
Should I go for 3G or wi-fi? Only reason I am tempted with 3G is because it's only £20 more after buying Wipeout, like to find other people I can play against and share times and maybe at a later date Sony might do something 3G only.

However I have an iPad and smartphone I can maybe use as a wi-fi hotspot, I don't want to pay every month, I won't take the vita out that much other than when I travel to Liverpool via coach every other week which is 3 hour trip each way.

Now do I wait a few weeks and pick up VT4 or order it now? I don't mind tennis games. Like mentioned Super Tennis was king. I'm half tempted to buy hot shot tennis for the psp (if it's available on the store)as that looks pretty good.

Although VT4 has online I'm a bit anal when it comes to career modes on games and I'd like to confirm this has a good one before I took the plunge.

In unrelated news my resi +circle pad pro is up to £30 on eBay with 8 hours to go. Lol already got my money back for it.

Apparently Sony have started a cashback campaign for Vita (3G only) sales in Japan.

Details are a bit sketchy and unconfirmed (like many Vita details I guess) but reports are starting to pop up on various gaming sites eg linky.

I've no idea if this will ever materialise in the West. I quite like the idea of a Vita for downloadable material and think the screen is way bigger and better than the 3DS screen, but I'm reluctant to get it as an impulse buy and give it a punt at the current pricing. If a near future price cut is unlikely, a cashback offer might be just as good and enough to sweeten the deal for waverers such as myself.

Oh man Top Spin, forgot about that. Another good series.

That portable charger looks perfect for flights and other long trips. I know for a fact that my Vita will die mid-flight when I go to the states later this year

£15 it works out at roughly..if you buy a game, and 3G model..nothing too exciting, i think.

Sales are down in japan again, to 14,400, charts are filled with psp, ps3, and 3ds titles..WTH are Sony thinking..
Gravity Daze number 2 in the japanese charts, but not saying much, as GT5 is back at number 8 on PS3..

This one may do the job just as well, same capacity and much cheaper.

I have its big brother the 11,000 mah version and it works perfectly with all my usb devices, will try it out on the vita when mine arrives but if it chargers an ipad with no problem I can't see it having any trouble with the vita

So the Vita uses Micro USB then? I was worried it'd be something proprietary.

Had a feeling it might be, but at least the other end is still USB so it'll work with those battery packs and any other USB power source.
