Who (like me) is pleased with their Go?

I'm so glad I kept my Go now. I was very close to getting rid of it about a month ago.

I was compiling a list of games I've bought (or got given for free from Sony) for it. Pretty amazed at what I have for it for not a lot of ££££ at all.

I have all of the below - The cost of which was just £97.81 in total!

Assassin Creed Bloodlines
Burnout Dominator
Burnout Legends
Daxter
Dead Head Fred
Disgaea
Everybodys Golf 2
Gangs of London (not the best!)
Gran Turismo
Killzone Liberation
Medal of Honour Heroes
Medal of Honour Heroes 2
Medievil Resurrection
Metal Gear Solid - Portable Ops
Practical IQ
Puzzle Quest
Resistance Retribution
Tetris
The Warriors

Works out at an average price of just over £5 per game

The Go is getting more playtime at the moment than even my PS3

Who else is really pleased with their machine?

I've just spent a week in Moscow. -25 was the average temperature so my Go was the perfect travel accessory.
Only got a few games cos I'm waiting for my code for the 3 freebies but I'm a very happy Go owner.
Can recommend Super Stardust - very addictive.

Wow, that's a lot of games you guys have! I've got two Go's one on US PSN, one on UK (I know you can swap between accounts, but i traded a load of useless HD-DVD's for my second one), probably 7-8 games on each; unfortunately, I only managed a single freebie!

You can only have one account stored on there, so you need to delete the account and then sign in with the other one.

I was taking a break from buying games on the PS3 (due to lack of quality games) and thought I'll be able to save a bit.

But ever since I got this PSP Go, it made me spend even more! With digital download so easily accessible, it's not surprising to see myself clicking "Download" on PSN and oops!

It's an added incentive to look at Mike Kebby's blog to look for weekly deals on the PSP Go.

For those who are not aware of his blog, here it is:
Mike Kebby – PlayStation.Blog.Europe

He's basically the man who manages the PSN UK Store.

I was bugging him for a price drop on Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (it was £31.99) and surprisingly, the recent update included a short offer of the game at £16.99! A bargain in my opinion.

Games that I have at the moment:

Gran Turismo
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
FF7
Vagrant Story
Disgaea (not really enjoying it at the moment)

Also, playing PS1 titles on the PSP Go is amazing. Pair it with a PS3 controller and you've got yourself a mini console

It's a little more complicated than that - you can only have one account active on the PSP at a time (i.e. you can only play US games until you make your UK account active, and vice versa), and simply logging into another account won't make that account active.

The easiest way I've found to do it is this:

1. Go to the Playstation Network section of the XMB.
2. Select the Account Management option and press Triangle, the select 'Delete Account' and press X.
3. Go to the Playstation store and login with your other account.
4. Download something small and free, like a theme or demo - at the point you do this, a screen will popup and ask you to confirm that you want to make this account active - select 'Yes' and all content linked to that account will become usable, everything else will become unusable.

If anyone knows a quicker way that doesn't require an internet connection, I'd love to hear it, as I could sell one of my Go consoles!

Stick with Disgaea for a bit, it's an amazing game once you fall for it's charms. It's unlike any SRPG I've ever played - I don't even like the genre, but I love the game and it's sequels.

Definitely will do, but others are keeping me occupied at the moment lol

But it does have sharp images and graphics, so will probably finish the game too. Gonna make sure I don't waste the £11.99 I spent on it!

Wow, that's worse than I thought!
I thought you only needed to delete the account and then add an account. So you need wifi to confirm the account is okay and also download something.

Hmmm, spoils my plan somewhat of downloading some of the games from the US PSN. Still most of the games are cheaper on the UK one.

Like I mentioned on my earlier post, check out that blog and it really does look like UK PSN is catching up with the US PSN. In fact, we have some games that they don't too.

So it's not too bad to actually stick to PAL region plus it saves you the hassle to get US PSN cards.

Very happy with the console. Its sooo much better than the NDS!

Paid £150 from HMV, 4 games via the vouchers (Motorstorm, R&C:Size Matters, Patapon, Locoroco - total of £65), brings the console down to £85, easily worth it.

Thanks, I usually keep an eye on the blog each week.
It was mentioned in last weeks blog post that there will be a lot more older games being released on the psn this coming year. I think a lot of publishers have been waiting for some psn sales figures since the Go was first released back in October.

Exactly the same and I never thought that'd ever happen. TBH I've barely touched my PS3s for gaming over the last few months.

I have a similar games list to you and to have it all there in my pocket whenever I want, where ever I am is awesome and PlayTV over remote play (yes I know it can be done on the old one) gives it the real WOW factor to everyone.

Very happy

I will add that if Sony made the PSP2 as the same size/style as the GO but with phone capabilities, at least a 3.2mp cam and touch screen it could possibly be the most amazing thing ever......IMO of course

Thumbs up Pleased With The Sony PSP Go?

You ask, Am i pleased with my Sony PSP Go
I answer: Hell yes! lol
The only negative i have about it is the damn price tag!
i mean like, they could have made it about £10 more expensive but not around £75.. All in all i do love the device

And yes i am pleased with it lol.

Only negative for me is the disparity between the prices of games on the PSN store and those you can buy on umd in a shop.

The problem is some what alleviated if you buy cheap PSN store cards though, if you didn't know you can buy a £20 psn card for around £16 online, I buy mine from Zavvii.

Yes, saves you over 20% from the store price. Also there are fortnightly specials on games (usually includes a couple of psp games), so unless you're desperate to play a certain game then you could wait until it's on sale.

I've got 23 games and 1 mini now for the Go, Cost £6.20 per game :-)

Bought a PSP Go yesterday from Gamestop here in Orlando. Originally i planned to buy an ipod touch

While its an expensive piece of kit, its certainly nicer than the regular PSP Models. Downloaded the PS1 Resident evil 2 to play through that again

PSP Wise im just playing demos to see what i like. Little Big Planet was very good and i prefer the PSP version to the PS3 one.

Still need to work through setting up remote play as im having issues. Also can they connect to the PS3 via Bluetooth?

Deep down, i probably should have got an ipod as i was mainly after a music player, so hopefully as i get more content on the Go, it will grow on me

I'm pleased with mine. It's a well built piece of kit and the screen looks very nice. I'm not finding the shoulder buttons comfortable to use when my thumbs are on the analogue stick and buttons though, but I'm sure I'll get used to that. Also, the time it takes for games to install is a bit long, lol. It took 47 minutes to download Everybody's Golf 2 on a 20 Mbps connection, then over 20 minutes to install it. Still, I won't be downloading games that often so I can let that slide. Overall I really like it and it definitely feels worth the £150 I paid for it.

BTW, I tried downloading the Internet radio app (the first one on the page), but all I can get out of it is morse code style beeps, lol. Has anyone got it to work?

OK, ive had my PSP Go now for over 2 months.

It's a nice little device but sadly i now think im gonna end up selling it on. I bought some games for it which are real good to play but all i seem to be sing it for is music, and when i return to the UK in July i intend to buy an iphone which i think will sadly make my PSP redundant.

Thats more down to me, practicality, and not wanting to carry around loads of devices for the PSP being useless.

waited and waited and waited (for the second nubb ) have given in and ordered the white one £150 from play..surprised at the lack of "accessory" packs for it..

so what do I need to get?? good case and??

will be on psn tonight getting gran tourismo and gta:cw plus a couple of little cheapies, ready to chuck them on Monday when it is hopefully delivered.

hope I dont start regretting not going for the 3000..I do prefer the size of the Go though.
