Metal Gear 1 psn>psp download distortion!

Hi.

Purchased Metal Gear Solid from the psn store yesterday and put it onto my psp.

The psp version has distortion in the music and codec conversations aswell as some stuttering too. It doesn't play like this on my ps3.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have deleted and copied again in case it was a bad copy but it still does it.

Not impressed . Paid £7.99 for a game which I own on a ps1 disc so I can play it on my psp and it is totally unplayable.

The frustrating part is I'd get my money back if it's a fault with the game if not able to sort it out but I don't know how/which way to go about it.

Does anyone know which Sony dept to contact or how to sort this out?

Thanks.

It actually has the same issues when it is ripped to an ISO from an original PSOne disc.

Thanks.

Yeah I've heard when I checked Homebrew stuff.

Bit of a joke to pay £7.99 for it and not be warned about this at all. I certainly would not have spent the money - it is totally unplayable

The joke of it is, I could have done this myself and paid nothing. So people who support a Company even more get the shaft = nice !

Also, I've seen some youtube vids and I can't hear/see the distortion/stutter.

I also would like to hear the same thing from other people. After doing a search I've not heard anyone say anything about their psn download doing the same thing when they put it on their psp - including the USA version ???

Still would like to know what I could do to get my money back if anyone knows, thanks.

Possibly the PSP is not powerful enough for 100% emulation. I have bought ff7 for mine and the sounds in battle (when you slash someone with sword for example) are not correct. They sound exactly like they did on PC PSX emulators for years (and still do without some sound emulation tweaking).

I just assumed the PS1 emulation was not up to scratch as sounds play perfect on PS3.

Edit: I'll probably pick up MGS but want to get DA O out of the way first.
