PSP Go - sell on questions

Right ive decided im giving up with this and Sony EU so want to know how i list it.

Can it be sold with all the games on there or will the new buyer lose them all?

Is there any way around losing them if thats the case?

Re: PSP Go - sell on questions

Sorry mate, unless you are prepared to let the new owner have your account info it has to be sold bare.
You should de-activate the system before selling on though, just FYI.

Re: PSP Go - sell on questions

No there is a setting somewhere (sorry at work right now) where you remove your license details from the machine. The games will then turn into demo versions (or not run at all)

you are allowed 5 PSP systems under your account, you have used 1 so deactivating this will give you 5 usable options again.

sorry I am not explaining this very well

Re: PSP Go - sell on questions

under 'account management' on the PSP there is an activate/deactivate account.

you deactivate it before selling it on. Assuming you're planning on buying another PSP that plays UMDs you can then redownload the PSN games to that.

In hindsight, I wonder if its worth setting up a PSP only account, so then you could in theory sell that on with the console, without affecting your PS3 etc. You'd lose access to the games then, but at least its an option?
