Football Manager 2010(download version)

Have always bought the Football Manager series on PSP, just love playing it on the move so i was so looking forward to buying this for the PSP Go.

Just logged on to the store and wohoo its there, just about to click purchase when i see the price do they really think anyone would pay

£35.99

I really am regretting buying the Go atm, shame as the potential is there just the prices are killing it, did wonder why Sony gave us 4 free games, there had to be a catch.

I know what you mean, its my big 30 next week and i was going to get a psp go, but i sat down with amazon on my laptop and psn store up on the PS3 and just compared prices of the games...made my mind up within 5 mins, got a PSP 3000 Black with GT and got a load of cheap umd game deals... I think Sony missed a trick here

Re: Football Manager 2010(download version)

I think as a Go owner you have to be either prepared to pay full retail for a game at release, or have the patience for the game to drop in price to around £10 - £15. or when a game goes on special offer

I don't really feel the need to pick games up on release so shouldn't pose to much of a problem for myself.

Would I like the games to be half price on release? Sure. Is that the reality? No.

I agree its a con, but i did order psn cards from the hut £20 for £15.75 plus quidco saving so it helps a little, im just hoping sony will eventually get the pricing right

They will lower the prices soon enough, i doubt anyone is paying £35.99 for any psp title. If you are.....shame on you!

I dont mind waiting for games to drop in price but its totally different with this game, it'll drop in price maybe in the summer? By then it'll be out of date and useless, im gutted that Sega/Sony/SI whoever made this £35.99, would love to see how many units they are selling at that price

Re: Football Manager 2010(download version)

Sales must have been awful.

Im really loving the PSP Go but unless i start seeing alot more titles available for download (Final Fantasy, Star Ocean etc) then i may end up selling it on and buying an earlier model. Its useless unless you have access to the whole library.

Re: Football Manager 2010(download version)

For those still concerned on the price of this one there is a management sim coming to Minis (so it'll be more in the £5 price range) called This Is Football Management - might be one to check out as an alternative :
