Remote Play

Anyone been able to remote play psp to ps3 yet?

I keep getting to the stage of: IT WILL TAKE AT MOST 90 SECONDS TO CONNECT. Then it times out.

Works fine here too, although I have not had the chance to try it out in the wild yet, only on the home network.

if you are doing this from home you must connect to the ps3 not your wireless router. thats the message i get going through my router. connect via the ps3 and its fine

I think that may well be the problem. When you try and connect it gives you a choice of your router and the PS3. You need to choose the local connection ( as opposed to the internet ) and then the PS3 for it to work.

I'm trying to connect with my psp at work and my ps3 at home, still having no joy.

I'll take my psp home tonight and see if it connects that way.

It could be the way your work network is setup. It may restrict outside connections. Have you ever tried to connect anything else wirelessly at work. Maybe you should try it at a free wi-fi hot spot in a cafe or somewhere and see if it works. I haven't tried that yet myself and will do so when I can.
