Firstly , i am a total noob with this cfw stuff, so apologies if nothing makes sense.I have a psp slim with the firmware 5.0.After reading about cfw and the possibiliy of backing up umd's,i ordered a datel service tool and 4gb card.The problem i have is that the datel tool isnt showing on the psp so i can charge it ready for use.I was wondering if the 5.0 firmware has blocked the tool or the battery is a duffer.

datel tool is only half of the requirements, you'll also need a magic memory stick, a standard memory stick with special software to reflash it with cfw
