Bluetooth uses?

I know the Bluetooth on psp go can be used for headset / speaker pairing & also for mobile phone tethering but what else?

I suppose a basic feature like being able to receive & send pics/vids or music is out of the question coz I can't see any info in instructions?

If not that's a bad feature to leave out coz would have been great.

Re: Bluetooth uses?

It also allows you to use the PS3 controller with the PSP Go. I haven't tried it but I suspect those PS3 games that can be played on the PSP through remote play may benefit. I know of three that can be played through remote play - Lair, Bionic Commando Rearmed and Blaz Blue. There may be others.

Re: Bluetooth uses?

as Moogle mentioned you can link your controller which also allows you to play your PSP games, I believe Resistance Retribution takes this into account and unlocks the 2nd analogue stick for you to use to aim.

Re: Bluetooth uses?

Any one tried linking to a mobile phone and using 3g/3.5g for streaming play TV? I can't imagine it working to well due to bandwidth, but interested to know.

I am keeping my eye on the Sony Ericsson that has PS3 streaming functions.

DONT GET IT FROM THE GAME WEBSITE!!!!!! its £17.99 instore. dont know where you live but romford and oxford circus had them instock last week. i asked in some stores and just got blank faces. game experts indeed!!!!! its really nice.

alittle tip, i dont like the new charge cable (sony cutting back even more!!) so if you have a nintendo wii buy a usb to 5v pin (like the old charging cable for psp) as the back of the cradle has this input to charge the psp go (leave your wii on standby, yellow light) this will charge your psp go then if you have a ps3 just use the supplied usb from the ps3 to back of the cradle to transfer data. hope that makes sense!!!!!

Re: Bluetooth uses?

Still disappointed that you're not able to bluetooth pics / mp3's & videos from your mobile phone to the PSP Go.

I think it would be ace if you could take a pic or video on your camera phone & then be able to send the vid & pics to your PSP Go to view them on a bigger screen.

Re: Bluetooth uses?

I have the PSP Go with a component video cable into the TV and a PS3 controller via bluetooth.

Limitations
1) As with previous PSPs, the TV out when playing PSP games means the window on most TVs will not take up the full screen. Some TVs such as many Philips will automatically rescale the image to fill the screen.

2) A PS3 controller can only be paired with 1 device. When the PS3 controller is paired with your PSP, it no longer works with the PS3 unless you repair it (which then means you lose it with the PSP again).

Fortunately I have a Philips TV! So the end result is great. It basically becomes a portable console that you can play with a great controller on your TV screen when you want to. This to me, was a significant feature of the PSP Go that attracted me to it.

Incidentally BBC iPlayer and Play TV (freeview box) do work via Remote Play.

Anyone tried this, ie link PSP to bluetooth 3.5g phone, then use the remote play feature?
