PSP Go! the Rewards scheme and what you cant do..

Incase those after a PSP Go! and planning on using the rewards scheme for the 3 Free games, I've just read the terms on Playstation Store and it says you need to register the PSP Go before you log on with your PSP and UMD to claim the Reward. This means you have to keep your PSP until you physically have the Go! in your hands to be able to use the Rewards option.

It also states that

Quote:
'If your PSP game disc ID and PSP Console ID have never been registered for the PSPgo Rewards incentive before, you will be eligible to download your three games through the PSPgo Reward scheme'
This obviously means only 1 PSP can be used per Rewards scheme, very badly implemented IMO..

So, the best way to do it then is to...

1) buy the PSPGo! (keeping the original PSP)
2) register for PSP Rewards with the Go!
3) log on with original PSP and UMD in the drive
4) download the 3 free games after receiving the email
5) then trade the old system and games and get the credit put on a reward card to use on upcoming games

Yeah, or of course you could use the trade in at game for a PSN prepaid card towards PSP Go! downloads in the future..

Re: PSP Go! the Rewards scheme and what you cant do..

What a complex process. Not being funny, why not just offer 3 free games to everyone who buys a PSPGo??? Most of them are older games, and now have little or no distribution costs associated with them.

Being stingy and complex with the offer will not help them sell more PSPGo units.

Sony have truly gone mental with this product!
