PSP wont find Router, but cant figure out why

So, i had recently changed around my wireless setup in my home. here it is:

i have a buffalo whr-g54s in my room set up as an access point (this is obviously where my modem is too) and i have another buffalo whr-g54s in my living room set up as an ethernet bridge. both routers have the tomato v1.25 firmware on them and are all nicely configured.

my ethernet bridge works, my consoles can connect to the internet fine, my roommates computer who is connected by an ethernet cable to my access point router works fine, and my ipod touch can find my router wirelessly just fine and connect to the internet.

but my PSP is not finding my router when im scanning for it. it just has some local ppls routers popping up. so here are the details:

my router does not have any mac address filtering on.
my router is broadcasting the SSID (and even if it wasnt, manually
entering all my info didnt bring me any success either)
my routers SSID is also not hidden
my router is sending a mixed B/G signal
im on channel 13, frequency 13 - 2.472 GHz, if that makes a differnce.
i have WEP security
WLAN switch is on and fine.

[EDIT] and to clarify, its not that i cant CONNECT, its that my router isnt visible, or accessible at all... it doesnt even look like its there.

like i mentioned a moment ago, i tried manually configuring my network, writing in my SSID and WEP, but when i test the connection, i get this error code 80410D04, which from what ive found is just that there is some kind of error in my setup.

i cant think of anything that could possibly be the problem!

the only thing is that maybe i need to open a specific port, but i dont know what it is

please help

Does it find any WLAN's? If it can't find anything including hotspots then you could have either a firmware problem or a hardware problem.

Re: PSP wont find Router, but cant figure out why

yes, it finds other routers, just not mine. so to clarify.... my psp can find other routers but not mine, and other wireless things i have can find my router. so if one can connect to others, and my router can be connected to, just not by my psp...... what could the problem possibly be???

[Have also tried unplugging the router and plugging it back in, and tried turning the psp on and off as well]

Re: PSP wont find Router, but cant figure out why

i have the same problem, with a different router tho. The only way i can find mine is by turning the security off or on a very rare occasion it might find it. It used to work properly tho, but i did a factory reset oneday (holding the reset button down fo 10 secs) and then after that it stopped workin...

make sure you allow your router to broadcast it's SSID for the psp to connect for the first time.
Then you can disable SSID broadcasting after the initial connection, of the psp.

If your PSP is not a UK unit (It may also apply to UK PSPs, but I only tested with a US PSP), you have to use a wifi channel in the range of 1-11 on the access point/router.

In the US and Canada (and probably other countries), unlike the UK and most of the EU, only have 1 to 11 and cannot use 12 and 13.
