i reckon that it'd really give the PSP a boost if you could accumulate trophies on PSP games....

i wonder what the technical challenges are? synching issues?

The only way this will happen is if they figure out how to stop people using Custom Firmware from gaining the trophies.

This is true, unfortunately.

Wasn't it confirmed via an official announcement that the PSP would not be receiving trophy support?

If Sony could be bothered they could use trophies to combat piracy.

Each game comes with a unique code and you can only earn trophies if you have entered the key, but that is probably too much trouble for Sony to administer, I would love it if I could earn trophies on the move
