Projector shops in London/Essex/Herts??

I want to demo a few 1080 resolution projectors but don't know where in the London/Essex/Herts area to go.

Does anyone have any suggestions of some places please?

Audio-T in Brentwood should be able to demo Panasonic and JVC
Hi-Spek in St Albans should do similar
Rayleigh Hi-Fi and Seveoaks do demos, but the former tend to do Runco types expense the latter DLP only which was no good for me.
Projector Point also do demos by appointment of a range of projectors.

Re: Projector shops in London/Essex/Herts??

I've just bought my JVC 750 from TLC Broadcast in Boremwood, they've got an excellent demo room with the JVC 350 and 750 both setup next to each other so you can do a direct comparison, here's their website :-

Pioneer Plasma TV, Pioneer Kuro TV, Pioneer KRP, Plasma PDP TV

The 350 and 750 are definately worth checking out, I'm really impressed with the picture from the 750.

Re: Projector shops in London/Essex/Herts??

Thanks for that guys. Anymore suggestions of good places would be most welcome.

I've currently got a Runco (SVGA:848x600) , but I want to upgrade to a HD projector.

I think the new Runco's are a bit too expensive and am unsure about whether to get a DLP or LCD projector.

Leaning away from DLP as I don't want anyone to experience the rainbow effect when watching. But are LCD projectors less reliable than DLP?
