Mount for Tiled Ceiling

Hi,

I'm working with a local charity who would like to ceiling mount a projector. At the moment they have ceiling tiles as you see in many offices, so I would need a solution which looks neat and works with these.

Any help appreciated!

Re: Mount for Tiled Ceiling

Hi

A standard Ceiling mount will do the job just fine. When we install these things we normally cut a small sheet of 9mm plywood the size of the tile and screw the mounting though the tile into the plywood placed on the other side.

This spreads the load on the tile and esures it wont split in two and your nice shiny new projector lands on the floor!

Good luck!
