Is switching from a Runco CL-500 to Sanyo PLV-Z700 a good idea??

Hi there,

I currently have a home theatre setup with a Revox amp, Crestron controls and a Runco CL-500 projector.

I understand this projector is now quite old and I think that the bulb has gone. How do I check if it is the bulb that has gone for sure?

Am thinking of switching to a Sanyo PLV-Z700.

Would this be a good idea?

If so, where in London/Essex can I go to have some demos for the Sanyo and other similar 1080 projectors?
