Screen Tape

Anyone know where you can get velvet type adhesive tape for a home made screen?

Already tried the local haberdashery. Losers never had any!

Thanks in advance

Does anyone know where I could get any tape / material to act as a black border?

I was thinking about maybe using the non hooked side of adhesive Velcro. Anyone tried it?

Currently mine doesn't have a border but I was planning on using 25mm black velvet ribbon and some double sided tape.

I'm interested to hear what other people have tried.

I would like some information on this too. I have just bought a screen with a border, but would like to shrink the viewable area a bit but keep the black borders.

Won't taping black material to the screen surface damage it?

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie in this forum. Just like to say I've used flat black paint for my border and turned out really good.

Ledzep100:

I've used BO cloth. Didn't cost me much, just under $80 for the
whole screen.

Re: Screen Tape

The best stuff to use is this 3 inch black velvet tape. You can find it on Ebay.com by searching for (3" black velvet border tape). This sells for around $49.99 USD for a 45 foot roll.

Re: Screen Tape

I looked into this at one stage.

Try searching for flock tape, and search on Ebay for sorcerer velvet.
