Sony VPL-VW12HT LCD Projector

I notice play are now selling gadgets and are selling this for <£3000 (£2000 off RRP?). I don't know if this is a good deal or not just came across it whilst browsing and thought I'd bring it to your attention as it may be of interest.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Returns, Warranties & Dead Pixels:

NON-REFUNDABLE: Due to the nature of this product it is NON-REFUNDABLE once delivered. Please make sure that it suits your needs before purchase, as we cannot refund your money if you change your mind. Any faults that may occur will either be repaired by Sony - or the unit exchanged - whichever is deemed appropriate by us.

WARRANTY: This product is classed as "Professional" within Sony's range and is supplied with a 12 month Sony Warranty. Should a fault occur please contact Sony and they will arrange pick-up and repair.

DEAD PIXELS: Occasionally pixel defects can occur on LCD projectors - these are called "dead pixels." Manufacturers will allow up to 4 dead pixels per unit before the unit is classed as faulty. We will only follow the guidelines set out by Sony should you find dead pixels on your unit. These are however quite rare, usually units are 100% perfect.

I do not believe that, under the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations, they can refuse a refund.

and do NOT believe the "Special Features" as it is listing things that the unit does not have (e.g., DVI)

And £3K is not all that great for this unit these days...they can be had for less.
