DVI cable to ceiling mounted projector, how?

Hi all,
How do you run a DVI cable to a ceiling mounted projector when the length of a DVI cable is severely limited? What is the maximum length people are getting away with as I can see this being a big issue when I come to do my install. Ideally I want my PC near the screen but that's bloody miles away from where the projector will be so I guess that's a non starter. Any experiences would be appreciated.

7.5m is the "official" maximum length for DVI. Some have had success with 10m+ DVI cables but it depends on resolutions/refresh rates etc..

HS10 @ 7.5m @1366x768 @ 56Hz here with no problems. Tried a 10m DVI @ 10m @ 1027x768 but exhibited pretty severe problems.

7.5m is pretty OK - beyond that........
