Epson EH-TW2800/3800

Does any one know if these two PJ's are available for demo in the West Midlands area.

Or are in stock at any Midlands dealers.

Does any one know if the 3800 is that much better than the 2800?

I have seen the 2800 online for £1250 and was wondering if the 3800 is worth the extra cash.

Re: Epson EH-TW2800/3800

edited as i got the info all wrong !!

tw2800 is cut down version to ( 6100/tw3800 - us model)

havent found any reviews on the tw2800 however http://www.premierehomecinema.co.uk are doing a deal on the tw3800 at the mo.

bear in mind tho the pt-ae3000 is comaprable to the tw5000 ( 6500ub) and can be had for about 2k and is significantly better than the tw3800 as reviewed by projectorreviews.com.

I would advise to pick a budget and stick to it. esp in the current economic climate. I just wish i could take my own advice!!

im tempted by the tw2800 myself - dont believe anyone does epson PJ demos in our region though.

hth

Re: Epson EH-TW2800/3800

Thanks for that. I think i am going to go for the tw2800.

After all i am upgrading from an old TW10H and should be blown away by the tw2800 anyway I hope.

I also like the idea of three years warranty on the PJ and the lamp.

Just wish i could get a demo before i buy.
