Can you ceiling mount a projector to be used with a Planar X-Screen?
I have purchased a Planar 70” X-Screen and an InFocus IN78 projector. They were second hand and hadn’t been used much and it was going for virtually nothing.
What I want to do is ceiling mount the projector to project onto the X-screen which will be about 10ft away. But from reading a couple X-screen reviews which talk about the problems with viewing angles if you are sat too far to the left or right of the screen the picture quality degrades quickly. But as the room is square and the sofa is perfectly in the middle (already a room being used as a home cinema) this shouldn’t be a problem. But in some reviews it has been said that you are not suppose to ceiling mount the projector for use for this type of screen for a similar reason. Putting it anywhere else would be a real pain. Is this true? Help and or advice would be appreciated! Regards, Darren Last edited by diablo1365`; 24-03-2009 at 7:05 PM. |
