New To home theater

Hello All,

I am in the process of putting a home theater together and I am looking for some assistance. I am a newbie so I dont want to spend to much money on a projector because I dont know if I am really going to appreciate all the top of the line features. I am looking to spend around 2k on a projector. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: New To home theater

I've just taken delivery of an Infocus IN80 DLP projector and paid £1150 for it and have to say I am blown away with the results, its connected to a Sony Blu-Ray player and the picture quality is just stunning as it is a full 1080p projector.
The most important thing to do when buying a projector is to go and see your preferred options actually working, there are places all over the place that have them set up in demo rooms - but from my point of view the Infocus IN80 was the best money I have spent for my set up!

Good luck!
