any guys on the forum had first had experience with this projector .

and even better has anyone strapped a morphic lense on it ?

is it a good unit
picture quality
problems
setup
what screen are u using
what lense have u added to it etc

Hi Lee,

I see you have the VPL-VW11HT. I've just upgraded from a VPL-VW12HT to one of the Sony SXRD's the Ruby, VPL-VW100.

The improvement in image is huge, it leaves the old 12HT in the dust, the VW80 will do the same and then some over your 11HT.

There isn't much of a comparison really, the SXRD units are simply an order of magnitude better for contrast, detail, sharpness, connectivity, noise.

I also replace my 11HT with this. It is way better in all areas. Only issue is some bright corners of black scene from time to time. Any other shade of grey is fine.
