It's Broken Mate - sold a duff projector

Only Kidding

It projects upwards (or downwards if ceiling mounted) - they call it offset - changes depends on distance to screen. You want to have the projector at about knee height and keep projector unit as level as possible.

If you have the manual see page 16 - shows how the picture is thrown upwards. It you have not got a manual go to optoma.co.uk - you can download it from there

Re: hd65 help

You can't change this - its normal

1 - Just check a few things - firstly i would open the menu - go to options and reset back to factory default settings - just in case who ever used it before used any keystone corections etc.

2 - check page 16 again (well that is the page on my download - install section - adjusting image size) to check that all is ok with the projected image - place projector on the floor as level as possible & check against the table to see if image is projected in the right place. For example project a 90" picture on to wall - so the distance is 3.09 meters from the wall to the lens - at wide zoom (this is either total full zoom or total minimum zoom not sure which - lol) The bottom of the picture should be 21cm offset plus distance from floor to centre of lens - so say the distance of floor to the centre of lens is 7cm add 21cm to this equals 28cm - this should be the bottom of the projected image. (see picture above table on page 16 to see what i mean)

If ok - maybe you just need to place the projector lower - ie on a coffee table.

Hope this helps
