I am looking to buy a used projector to play movies in my bar. However, I will be using harkness invisi screen transparent projection foil applied to my windows and/or on a glass screen inside my venue.

I am guessing the ligher the lumens the better especially as sometimes it will be on during the day when the ambient light is high but not sure which projectors are best suited for the job - I need to buy a used one under £500 as this may be a project that I abandon if it doesnt work. If it does I can invest in a new projector at a later date. The models open to me are

a. sanyo plc xu78 3000 lumens (most current model)
b. sanyo plc xp45 3500 lumens
c. sanyo plc xp51 4000 lumens (highest lumen of lot)
d. projectiondesigns F1 XGA LTZ 3000 lumens but its DLP
e. 3M x64 2600 lumens (guess not bright enough)
f. Samsung SPL300 LCD Projector XGA 3000 lumens
(which is New and suprisingly in my budget!!!)

Can anyone please advise

Don't know if you've had a reply to this yet and I can't offer any advice as such but notice that ebuyer are doing the Samdung SPL300 with a 'free' Samsung T200HD LCD tv which, if you didn't want, you could flog on ebay.
