Newbie need a little help please.

I have just about finished my loft conversion for a home cinema.
No windows black carpet walls etc.
I know nothing about projectors and have a budget of around £1000 could push a little more if i dont tell the wife
It will be used 99% of the time for movies through my blue ray player and the odd football game.
I have around 15ft from the back wall to where the screen will be,
so can anyone recommend a projector 720p or should i go for a 1080p and what size screen could i get.

thanks steve

Re: Newbie need a little help please.

We can only speak from our personal experience which is with our Panasonic 720p and that experience is outstanding.

We project across the width of our room which is only 13ft using a shelf mount for the PJ and so allowing for PJ and cables our lens-to-screen is about 11 1/2 feet.

You can buy a Panasonic PT AE200 for around 600 pounds (around 1000 USD) and achieve a great Cinema in the Home visual experience.
Best of Luck
