I'm fed up !!!

I've had enough. I'm in the market for a 1080P DLP Projector.

My room is going to be fairly dark so brightness is not an issue.

I really want DEEP BLACKS. I'm happy watching any movie when the blacks are correct.

Which projectors should I be looking at?

I want to spend $3000 - $5000 AUD.

BenQ, Infocus?

Does it have to be a DLP? SXRD and DILA is gathering a good reputation for deep blacks...

The JVC HD750 is renowned for deep blacks, as is the Sony VPL-HW80. I don't think that DLP have caught up yet, in that respect.

Are they in your price range?

Re: I'm fed up !!!

You will need to address in room reflections to get near the potential black level from all projectors. Particularly noticeable with the better projectors
