NEC HT1000 for £1,300 ???!!!

Anyone advise on whether £1,300 a good price to pay for an NEC HT1000 ?? I thought these were around the £4K mark?

Have they dropped this much in price? Should mention that the sale is taking place on an auction site though... Might reach slightly more than that, but can anyone guide me as to what maximum I should pay?

The item appears to be "brand new" (advertised as such)

Cheers,

Andy.

At that price a bargain. If it is on an auction expect it to go much higher, around the £2500 or above. You can get this model for about £3000 online. Even at £2500 with a full warranty it would still be a very good buy.

Make sure the pj is in the UK and if the seller insists on a Western Union cheque ask if you can pick up the pj personaly. You'll not hear from them again.
