6210 deaths door, need 720, 1 HDMI, Bright, bright bright and bright PJ replacement

Hey Guys

My very well served, Benq 6210 is now on its last legs (sadly) and so I need a new PJ. I'm not interested in 1080p (its mostly fed from Sky HD) but this would be a bonus. Its requirements are:

VGA/DVI x 1
HDMI x 1
Component x1
1080i
high lumens - really need at least 2000

This is all to support use in a fairly bright room for gaming (1280x1024 is fine) and Sky HD (1080i). I *could* be tempted to buy some blackout curtains I suppose .... maybe ....

To make things easier and cheaper (?) I am going to Orlando over x-mass and could order this there and save money.

Any thoughts?

edit: sorry, forgot to mention that I really dont want to spend more than 6-800quid (1200usd?)

Panasonic PT-AX200 is pretty much and exact match to your requirements.

Sadly, doesn't get very good reviews (after a quick bit of google). Also, its very large.

Actually, what do you guys think about the Optoma HD71?

Most of the reviews really rate it and the lumens rating doesn't reflect how bright it really is. However, a few reviews seem to say its very loud when in "bright" mode...... so much so, it can spoil the audio. Any one used one?

Really? I must admit I was going more from the reviews of the AX100 which were good. I just assumed the AX200 would be better.
