LG 44" DLP RPTV

Briefly saw one of these in Curries yesterday - think they are exclusive. Model # is RE-44SZ20RD. It was running some LG demo disc on a Sony NS305 dvd player. I was mightily impressed with what i saw. Are there are reviews/comments/opinions on this unit - didn't find much through google.

Specs are here --> http://clients.modernmedia.co.uk/lgdlp/specs.htm

Is this a good example of DLP technology?

Many thanks.

I believe it was one of these I saw in Dixon$ recently. They were showing a 4x3 instore video in its correct 4x3 ratio (pillar boxed) and the nice, straight vertical edges of the image revealed that this paricular set had disgraceful geometry, with a pronounced inwards bow at either side. I obviously can't say whether it is typical, but in a single lens RPTV configuration, this MUST be an optical defect, not an electronic one - which makes me think the projection lens or mirror is not up to scratch.
