Re: BeamBox Pocket Projector?

with the resolution as low as it is, 640x480, and no mention of anything else spec-wise, i imagine it will look rubbish on any size of screen bigger than a pillowcase, and definately not for home cinema, IMO.
there are similar ones on ebay, for around the same price, with same resolution, and they are poor.

Re: BeamBox Pocket Projector?

Well I just looked at the youtube video of this, the link is on their site.

Is there any reason why they play the music when the projector is turned on/off. It's not to hide the fan noise is it?

Re: BeamBox Pocket Projector?

now these are small projectors...

YouTube - CES 2007: Microvision Pico Projector

and also look at the 3m one in the related videos....

in the micro vision one the lines are because of the refesh rates of the pj and camera being different i heard elsewhere not 100% sure about this... i also heard that it is like a crt but shoots photons not electrons???? does this mean true blacks??? i dont no anything bout this sorta thing so i dunno...
