Where to get Panny AE-100 lamps?

Hi all,

I know from reading the threads that there are a million and one ae100 users out there, so someone....

please put me out of my misery and let me know where to get a decent price on replacement lamps!

I have seen them for £260 + vat/del but that seems to be quite a lot bearing in mind the falling price of the unit itself.

Hopefully I won't need it for another few hours (5000 at quotes from websites about low power mode ) but the info would be handy.

Cheers

Coop

Surely someone must have an idea or could let me know where to look...

(BTW I have searched the forums - the £150 lamp is mentioned but no address or link is given.)

www.pricejapan.com quoted me $260 thats about £160 at current rates i believe incl shipping etc, worth a try. Also read somewhere if you ay in Jap Yen it works out cheaper not sure though ex rate for USD is very good at the moment.

Would that involve any customs charge?

Or, do you not pay tax on it as it is a computer based item?

Cheers,
