Ordered the Infocus X9, but what do I need to connect it?

Basically I just want to purchase any additional cables etc that I may need in order to get this baby working.

I have a Virgin Media box (non HD) which has scart connection and also a PS3. Now I know I'll be able to connect my ps3 using HDMI, but what about the other box, also got a freeview box, how do I go about connecting these? I know theres an S-VIDEO socket and COMPOSITE on the infocus x9 so do I use these for the freeviex box?

Anything else I need to purchase before it arrives? Oh yeh and what about sound?!

Ooops, have an amp downstairs but nothing where the is projectors going (upstairs spare room)! Is an amp a must have then I take it? Does the amp need to have HDMI too?

For the time being is there a way to get sound without a amp?
