Epson TW2000 or Sony VW60

It's now decision time for me. having been lurking here for some time I have been through all the reviews but haven't really seen a thread whereby the two projectors I'm interested in have been compared. I am keeping an objective view on both and hope that both will be better than my old VPL-VW11HT. Anybody been in the same position as me? Are they both similar in overall black reproduction, picture quality, colour reproduction etc?

IF you're not worried about anamorphic and are going to import rather than pay through the nose for a a uk machine then have a read of this, particularly the final paragraph.

Re: Epson TW2000 or Sony VW60

I don't believe they've reviewed the VW60, so even though what was written is true I don't believe it was compared to the VW60, so worth taking that into account. In saying that I would suspect they would come out pretty neck and neck. (Not re-read the review so I could be remembering incorrectly, if so correct me and I apologise)
I have a VW60 (imported), but like the TW2000 I would say they really only have a really good bang for buck when importing, I'm not sure I would say their worth the amount of difference that they charge in UK compared to the cheaper alternatives, either of them. But that is just my view and I admit that I've not seen the cheaper competition in action, only going by what I've read. Have they brought the pricing closing in line to everywhere else yet? Been to busy to keep up with everything.
For what it's worth thoroughly enjoying the pj, massive step up from my tx100 as to be expected!
