How to find out Hours on a PT AE100 without remote

Ok, my old trusty panny is still running but for some reason it does not work with the remote control anymore, ive tried another remote but still no joy so i think the issue is with the projector.

Is there anyway i can see how many hours the projector has done via some sort of service menu using the RS232 port ? Thinking about upgrading so want to see how many hours left before i sell on.

cheers

My PTAE100 went the same way. I used the remote into a learning remote which registered the remote output, which proved it was the receiver in the PJ. I gave up at that point as the PJ was over 4 years old. I passed it on to my daughter at Uni over a year ago, and its still going strong wowing her mates! For what you would get for the PJ second hand, with no remote control, I think the lamp hours would make no difference. Good luck mate.
