TX300 colour uniformity issue

After getting my tx200 replaced for a tx300, the colour uniformity issue reared it's ugly heas once again... a blueish left side a yellowish right side in the picture.
The repair service replaced the entire optical unit, except for the lamp, and then decided that the uniformity issue was caused by the lamp itself.

To me this seems nonsensical... am I wrong?

Re: TX300 colour uniformity issue

I'm having the same problemn with mine. Whites are looking more like pinks on one corner of the screen. I can't tell how many hrs I've got on it as it decided to reset itself one day for some reason but approx 2500.

Is there anything other than buying a new projector that can be done?

Re: TX300 colour uniformity issue

I have the same problem with my TX200 but only when the black is on. Even with the unif settings in the service menu, I cannot resolve this problem. I have to turn off the black option then it is ok. Is your problem always there or only with the black button on?

Re: TX300 colour uniformity issue

I have the same experience with both the 200 and 300: when the auto iris is turned off, the color uniformity is a bit better, but it is still apparent.

VERY annoying.....
