Projector for bedroom... ?

Hi,
I'm looking at putting a projector (and screen!) in our bedroom, but having zero knowledge I have some questions if anyone can help please....

Firstly, I'm after a very quiet one...
Secondly a reasonably priced one (sub £500)
Thirdly one that can be "hidden" (by this I mean boxed in at the back of the room).

The distance from projector to screen will be some 13'6" (c.4m), and I would want a wide-screen with a maximum diagonal of 84" (but 72" would probably be better)
-as I said, I know nothing about projectors so is this possible at all?

Oh and as for the screen, it would be in front of a window (is this a problem?) and I'd like it to be electronic - connected to the projector, so that when the projector is switched on and off, the screen lowers and rises - and again, a good value one (sub £500)!

And finally, would it be easy for me to install and hide all the wires - or is it much better to get it fitted professionally ?

Sorry for all the question, any help/ideas much appreciated.

Thanks!

I think you'd be better off getting a large TV, I doubt any projector would be quiet in the average bedroom especialy at the dead of night also at the buget end the models are usualy very very noisey.

My W100 is in my bedroom and I don't hear it except for the cooling fan when switching off.

Re: Projector for bedroom... ?

Well the Optoma HD65 is sub £500 and comes with a 12v trigger for electronic screens, although I don't know how quiet it is. People say that when watching TV or playing a game they can't hear it, but i'd be sure you can hear it when the speakers are quiet.
As someone said, I donno how quiet budget projectors are, but I would be able to live with the sound of the HD65.
Check the Owners Thread for picture quality, it's amazing.
