Conencting Wii to PJ and amp

Hi All,

Just got a Wii and want to know if the component lead I have with my PS2 is the same one you can buy for the Wii, e.g. red, green, blue going into the 3 sockets on the PJ (Infocus SP 5700) with the rectangular one going into PS2/Wii?

Also, does the supplied audio cable plug into my Denon 8202 amp for Pro Logic II audio?

Thanks all.

The Wii lead has a different connector to PS2/PS3 so wont work. Get the Official Nintendo Component lead, thats comes with red, green, blue and red/white for audio.

Thanks for that - and is the lead suitably long? My PJ and Amp are about 2 metres apart, and presumably you need the sensor bar in front of you and thus the Wii has to be somewhere in between?

Cheers!

The sensor bar (as I understand it) is only outputting IR signals, which are picked up by the Wiimote(s), and the Wiimote then communicates directly with the Wii. So sensor bar is a bit of a misnomer, but the good news is that the sensor bar can be replaced by a wireless version which means your Wii can go pretty much anywhere. Here are some possibilites: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_...sensor&x=0&y=0
