quick cheap PJ question

Hi guys.. i have been offered a Mitsubishi SE2U for £100 by one of my mates.

has anyone heard or know anything about it?? i would be using it in a discreet set up in my bedroom with my xbox 360, all hidden away on top of a wardrobe..

i understand its not amazing, but i have my full on set up in the lounge and thought it may be half decent for some bedtime gaming..

here are the stats- make sure your sitting down

simple question is , will i be able to play high def 360 in widescreen on it??

guessing i can, will just need a component to vga connector to send the 720p signal

thanks in advance

Phil

Re: quick cheap PJ question

Never heard of it, for £100 it might be worth a punt, but a optoma HD65 will likely be better but thats a few times more expensive ...

As long as you don't sit too close to it, or have the image too big, 800x600 res should be fine on a dlp.

Hi def ... no, its only 800x600, but it will accept 720p from the burp you have above, will just downscale it.
Widescrenn ... its a 4:3 projector so not natively, you'll get black bars like on a 4:3 tv.

Re: quick cheap PJ question

ah got you Gaz, thanks for getting back to me..

think i may hold off, i have an hd optoma in the lougne which rules- but i thought as its only £100 (I have bought rounds which cost more - painfully mind you) it might be worth it, but if it will downscale the image i cant see much point..

cheers
