Upgrading from 42 Plasma to projector?...Advice needed please.

Hello,

I have had a Panasonic PX60 since they came out and am well impressed with the picture quality, HD gaming looks amazing and Blu-Ray looks excellent althought limited to 1080i.

I originally planned to upgrade to a 50" Plasma but i am now thinking about a projector, there is a couple of questions i would like to ask if someone could answer please.....

I have only ever seen a projector running in my workplace which was in the wrong light conditions and only beamed on a wall, it was an old projector also, and in the pub when there is a football match on which also is in the wrong lighting conditions.

I was reading about the Panasonic PT AE2000E which has had great reviews but would like to know how it compares to a Plasma?

HD gaming and movies is important to me, both look vibrant and bright on my plasma.......is it possible to get near these levels with this projector?

Also can you use the Nintendo Wii or a Guncon for a PS2/3 on the projection screen?
