Best projector £1500 or less ?

Well looking to upgrade my projector, currently have a Panasonic ae900 which has been great.

Needs to have horizontal and vertical lense shift, throw distance approx 10ft 6inchs producing around 9ft wide pricture....

I have had a couple of Panasonic lcd projectors and I have been very happy with them so tempted just to get "The latest model" as its likely to fit straight into my requirments...ANy thoughts and advice appreciated !

To be honest, if you could haggle with someone and get the Panny PT-AE2000E for a figure you are comfortable with, I don't see how you could go wrong.
It's only bettered by the Mits 6000, Epson TW2000 and the Sony VW40 according to reports, which are all much more expensive here in the UK.
The DLP competitors are all inflexible when it comes to lens shift.

Re: Best projector £1500 or less ?

Thats what I am thinking at the moment.......

I know the panny will fit in my setup as well..

Question is it better 3 times better than the ax200 at £750....its almost 3 times the price. Its not 1080p but then again only my ps3 is really 1080p proper anyway at the moment......

Sounds like there are quite a few issus with that PJ though its got excellent reviews on Projector Central...
