Projector in Bedroom.

Hi,
I wonder if you can help me, i am thinking of putting a projector in the bedroom, i will not have virgin media in that room, but i have got it in the lounge. My theory is to have free-sat connected to the bedroom, but obviously there is no firm date as to when it is going to be available.

Is it possible to connect the projector to a DVD player and amp until free-sat becomes available? Or do i need something else?

The projector i haven't purchased yet as i need a short throw one, any recommendations to connect to a themescene HD3000 video processor?

Would i be right in thinking that to buy a £500-£700 mark approximately projector i would get a clearer better image with the video processor? As opposed to buying a dearer model. The light in the bedroom will not be a problem.

The reason i want free-sat is because i can feed a 576i signal straight into the video processor, hence why i don't want virgin media in the bedroom, because it is 720p or 1080i.

Thank you
